Telecommunications Specialist

Job TitleJob Description Serves as a member of a performance evaluation team in support of the technical evaluation of over 145 DISN facilities across the Pacific Theater and the West Coast of the United States. Analyzes and interprets complex technical publications, agency regulations, and strategic policies to guide Node Site performance evaluations; develops and proposes new assessment methodologies. Ensures service delivery nodes and facilities meet or exceed metrics in Service Level Agreements, Site Concurrence Letters, and organizational policies; identifies operational deficiencies, analyzes root causes, and recommends corrective actions. Manages the Readiness Assessment and Performance Management lifecycle by developing and maintaining standardized processes for collecting performance data and analyzing that data to identify systemic trends, strengths, and risk factors. Produces and presents comprehensive reports, data visualizations, and executive briefings on Service Delivery Node and Facility, readiness, and operational performance. Directs the data management and organization process by establishing and maintaining structured SharePoint Online libraries for all critical documentation, including evaluation reports, commissioning findings, and corrective action tracking. Assists the branch supervisor in the day-to-day management of QA and technical assistance efforts and other duties as assigned.
