Job Description
Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Dispensary Associate to join our team in Shrewsbury, MA. As a pivotal member of our dispensary, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with all regulations. Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of dispensary associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with product selection and answering inquiries. Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding the sale and distribution of cannabis products. Manage inventory levels, including receiving and stocking products, while maintaining accurate records. Conduct training sessions for new employees on product knowledge, customer service techniques, and compliance protocols. Assist in the development and implementation of dispensary policies and procedures. Monitor sales performance and provide feedback to improve team efficiency and customer satisfaction. Stay informed about industry trends and product knowledge to educate both staff and customers.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in retail or cannabis industry preferred. Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and motivating a team. Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and their effects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with compliance regulations and best practices in the cannabis industry.
