Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Podiatrist to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care in both clinic and inpatient settings. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating a full scope of podiatric conditions, performing surgical procedures, and managing inpatient consults. This role focuses primarily on clinic and inpatient care, supported by a full nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat foot and ankle conditions, including arthritis, fractures, corns, and calluses
  • Prescribe orthotics and provide therapeutic treatments
  • Perform inpatient and outpatient foot and ankle surgeries
  • Conduct inpatient consults and manage hospitalized patients
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a clinic-based setting
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
  • ScheduleMondayFriday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PMUp to 35 patients per day in clinic
  • No regular weekend call
  • Occasional weekend inpatient rounds if needed
  • SupportFull clinic nursing staff provided
Qualifications:
  • Doctoral Degree in Podiatric Medicine (DPM)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent podiatry experience
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (ACGME or AOA residency)
  • Oklahoma medical license required
  • Any valid state DEA license required
  • Oklahoma CDS license requiredBLS and ACLS required (AHA certification not required)
  • Clean professional history:
  • No malpractice history
  • No remedial action plans
  • No red flags
