This job rotates between 1st and 2nd shift.
About the job:
- MiG weld die by flooding or overlaying impressions and stick weld any undercuts.
- Gouge cracks and damaged surfaces from dies for patch welding and place them in furnace using crane.
- Trouble shoot MiG welding machine and perform routine maintenance.
- Operate crane / furnace safely and keep areas clean.
- General skills
- MiG welding
- Knowledge of steel alloys3 plus years' experience or education
- Osha safety a plus
- Use of hands to handle or operate objects, tools, controls.
