Focusing on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, the full-time State Licensed Assistant General Counsel will serve as in-house legal counsel, managing corporate maintenance matters and advising stakeholders on legal risks and obligations in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities: Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts while managing legal risk and ensuring compliance with company standards Provide legal guidance on contract terms and obligations to internal stakeholders, translating complex legal concepts into practical business advice Oversee routine corporate maintenance tasks, including the preparation and maintenance of corporate records and resolutions
Required qualifications: JD from an accredited law school with active membership in good standing of any U.S. state bar 5-7 years of legal experience, preferably in an in-house role focused on commercial contracting and corporate maintenance Knowledge of corporate law and the ability to draft contracts related to service and product delivery Experience with legal research platforms and regulatory databases
Preferred: Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCM) certification
