Control Technician PRN

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIESTo provide highly technical skills in the construction, installation, operation and maintenance of electric, electronic, direct digital and pneumatic controls associated with HVAC, Building Automation Systems and other related Systems. Monitors, synchronizes, repairs and maintains the controlling mechanism required for efficient and proper operation of Facilities Management equipment throughout the facilities of University Health. Complies with the Health System and departmental policies and procedures. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. Associates degree in Electronics is preferred. Three years' experience in Pneumatic, Electronic and Electro-Mechanical Controls Maintenance and Repair is preferred. Five years' experience in repairing Honeywell and Johnson and/or other HVAC controls in large facilities is preferred. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONMust possess a valid Texas State driver's license "Class C" and must maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record and insurable by the Health System.
