This role is essential to maintaining the community's quality and ensuring resident satisfaction. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for completing maintenance work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new residents. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong problem-solving skills and excellent customer service. Prior experience in residential maintenance is preferred.
Compensation:
Starting at $20 per hour (commensurate with experience), plus opportunities for bonuses and allowances.
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM, with participation in an on-call rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and perform HVAC maintenance
- Repair and maintain electrical systems
- Hang, prep, and sand drywall
- Repair and maintain appliances
- Handle plumbing repairs
- Paint apartments and common areas
- Maintain property cleanliness, order, and safety
- Assist with snow removal
- Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience in plumbing, electrical, or carpentry
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical issues
- Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 85 lbs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Must be available for on-call emergencies, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of maintenance experience preferred
