Role Description: The Event Production Manager – Live Events (Audio/Video/Lighting) is a full-time, on-site role based in Tempe, AZ. This role oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of live events, ensuring seamless integration of audio, video, lighting, staging, and special effects. The Event Production Manager collaborates with internal teams, vendors, and clients to translate event objectives into detailed production plans, schedules, and technical requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising production crews, managing equipment and resources, maintaining timelines and budgets, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues during events, providing clear communication to stakeholders, and delivering a consistent, high-quality experience for attendees.
Qualifications: Strong skills in Production Management and Event Production, with experience overseeing technical aspects of live events. Proficiency in Event Planning and Budgeting, including building production schedules and managing cost-effective solutions. Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams and provide clear direction to crew members. Knowledge of live event audio, video, and lighting systems, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting. Experience managing on-site event operations, with a focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities. Relevant experience in event production, technical theater, or audiovisual services; supervisory or leadership experience is a plus. Associate or bachelor’s degree in event management, production, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
