Nexamp is seeking to hire a Financing Operations Manager to support post-close financing execution across Nexamp's construction debt portfolios and, over time, selected tax equity and term financing workstreams where they intersect with construction financing milestones You will turn complex financing requirements into clear, repeatable operating processes that enable timely fundings, high-quality lender reporting, and strong documentation discipline You will work closely with the Director, Finance Operations and cross-functional partners across Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, Legal, Accounting, Asset Management, Energy Sales, Transformation, and Portfolio Operations to keep critical financing operations on track We are accepting candidates out of our Boston, MA office, where you will be hybrid. You will report to the Director, Financing Operations Establish and maintain quality standards for trackers, data rooms, document packages, and reporting support materials, including naming conventions, status definitions, completeness checks, and version control Maintain accurate borrowing checklists and readiness trackers to advance funding efficiently and on time Coordinate operational tracking of financing-related certifications and compliance support items, including prevailing wage documentation, domestic content support, and other IRA / ITC-related documentation where required Partner with internal stakeholders to maintain clear deliverable ownership, timelines, and handoffs Document and continuously refine standard operating procedures, RACIs, and playbooks so core financing operations processes are repeatable, scalable, and easy for the team to execute Support the Director, Finance Operations with recurring reporting, process improvement, and other financing operations priorities as the portfolio evolves BenefitsHealth benefits starting day one Company sponsored service days Company contributed HSA account Flexible hybrid work arrangements Cell phone reimbursement Flexible time off Parental leave Educational assistance 401k company match Commuter/transit benefits Ability to learn new financing structures, tools, and compliance requirements quickly and adapt processes as Nexamp's portfolio evolves Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust with internal stakeholders and external counterparties through reliability, responsiveness, and clarity Strong project management, organizational, and documentation discipline, with the ability to manage multiple facilities, deadlines, and dependencies with limited supervision Clearly communicates requirements, statuses, dependencies, and risks across technical and non-technical stakeholders Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Operations, Legal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in financing operations, documentation-heavy portfolio operations, or a similar environment Experience coordinating across Finance, Legal, Operations, external advisors, and other stakeholders to gather inputs, close action items, and keep milestone-driven work on schedule Commitment to Nexamp's mission and a desire to build a smarter, stronger energy future Demonstrated experience managing conditions precedent checklists, closing workflows, documentation packages, recurring reporting obligations, or related financing operations processes in a high-volume environment Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate requirements, statuses, dependencies, and risks across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups Demonstrated ability to drive financing operations work to completion with a high degree of accuracy, urgency, and accountability Ability to identify documentation, process, and coordination gaps early and develop pragmatic solutions Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize status, risks, and recommended actions for internal stakeholders quickly and accurately 4-7+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: project finance operations, construction financing operations, portfolio operations, loan or closing operations, structured finance support, real estate or documentation-heavy transaction support, or similar operational roles Ability to interpret credit agreements, conditions precedent requirements, reporting calendars, and related financing documentation, then translate those requirements into actionable team workplans Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing priorities, increasing portfolio complexity, and new financing structures
