This is not your typical DSP or caregiving role. Dungarvin is hiring experienced Direct Support Professionals and human services professionalsto join our Adult Day Program, supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they build confidence, learn new skills, and become more independent. You will lead group activities, teach practical life skills, support community outings, provide personal care and behavioral support, and encourage individuals as they work toward meaningful goals. Competitive Pay: $21.75/hour. New hires for this position start at $21.75/hour
Full Pay Range:
$21.75 - $24.25/hour. The higher rates shown in the range are pay increases reached over time and are tied to tenure/length with Dungarvin. Monday - Friday work schedule with weekends off! We're looking for candidates who already have some hands-on experience supporting adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Relevant experience may include work as aDSP, Behavior Technician/RBT, paraprofessional, respite provider, job coach, community support professional, or similar human services role.
What You'll Need:
At least 6 months of experience supporting adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities Must be 18years or older High school diploma or GEDValid driver's license and ability to drive a company van Experience with direct support, personal care, behavioral support, or skill development Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic documentation systems Ability to lift and transfer up to 50 lbs. Ability to work as part of a team in an active, changing environment Experience in an adult day program, group home, behavioral program, or community-based setting is a plus.
