Trailer Mechanic

Key Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and repair trailers, including brakes, suspension, air systems, electrical wiring, lighting, doors, floors, frames, and landing gear Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on trailers Complete necessary repairs identified through Daily Inspection Reports Power wash trailers and equipment as part of routine maintenance Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform on-site service as needed within the MRFConduct safety checks to ensure trailers meet company and regulatory standards Accurately complete work orders and required documentation using maintenance software Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations Perform other duties as assigned
