Cardiac Interventional Technologist II

Perform electrophysiology, ablation, cardiac catheterization, and other interventional procedures while monitoring patients before, during, and after care. Prepare sterile trays, operate imaging and emergency equipment, support physicians during procedures, maintain supplies and records, and provide patient education and discharge instructions. Administer contrast media during cardiac catheterization as directed by the physician. Monitor patient hemodynamics, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms during procedures. Assist physicians by scrubbing and helping manipulate and place guide wires and catheters. Perform electrophysiology and ablation procedures and operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images. Prepare patients and sterile trays before procedures and provide post-procedure site care, discharge instructions, and transportation. Maintain patient records, manage supplies and inventory, and respond to on-call emergencies.
