Structural Fitter - 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Lay out and measure materials using precision tools (tape measures, squares, levels)Cut, shape, and fit metal components using hand tools and power equipment Align and position structural parts prior to welding or bolting Tack weld components when required (depending on certification)Inspect fit-up to ensure proper dimensions and tolerances Operate equipment such as grinders, torches, and hoists Follow safety standards (OSHA) and company procedures Work collaboratively with welders, engineers, and supervisors

Required Skills & Qualifications: Ability to read technical drawings and weld symbols Strong understanding of structural fabrication and layout techniques Proficiency with measuring tools and fabrication equipment Knowledge of metal properties and tolerances Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions Basic math and geometry skills Welding experience (preferred but not always required)Night shift differential pay available, monthly bonuses offered.
