Senior Estimator

Requirements include: Prepares detailed material and equipment takeoffs to support accurate cost estimates, budgets, and purchase orders, including correct cost coding and tax calculations Reviews drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure estimates align with project scope and site-specific requirements Develops and contributes to overall project schedules, safety plans, equipment utilization plans, and manpower forecasts during preconstruction Tracks budgeted vs. actual costs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, and helps forecast project costs monthly Communicates with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to gather pricing and scope information for estimates Applies quality and safety standards knowledge to ensure estimates reflect realistic execution requirements Requires 4–8 years of relevant estimating/field experience, strong drawing interpretation skills, proficiency with Primavera scheduling and COINS cost-forecasting software, Word/Excel skills, and a valid driver's license
