ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To assist in the organization and cleanliness of kitchen areaTo receive deliveries and put product away with instructionAdhere to all sanitation and safety guidelinesTo open and close the kitchen on a daily basisComplete all assigned tasksAssist the Cooks as necessaryTo assist in food preparationDispose of wasteEnsure all items are clean according to sanitation guidelinesMaintain a clean and organized work areaMonitor proper tank temperatures and chemicalsRecord and communicate all breakageTo assist in the training of new employeesQualificationsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESMust be able to convey information and ideas clearlyMust be able to evaluate and choose alternate courses of action quickly and accuratelyMust be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessaryMust have the ability to gather information from all sources available and know how to use this information to best resolve a problem or needMust be effective in listening to and understanding the concerns and issues raised by other employees or customersMust be able to prioritize and delegate work as neededMust communicate effectively with all levels of managementMaintain high standards of personal appearance and groomingMaintain regular attendanceAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers and patronsMust be flexible to provide assistance to management team in a 24/7 operating environmentMust have reliable transportation QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of high school diploma / equivalencyMust possess English Language Skills sufficient to fully comprehend job assignments, including the ability to read, write and communicate in fluent English PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Working extended hours may be required as neededRegularly required to stand, walk, and use repetitive wrist and finger movement, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlWork standing on feet for extended periods of time, approximately 8+ hours per dayOccasionally lifting, pulling or pushing up to 50 lbs
