Sports Staff

Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate onboard sports and recreational activities. Host and facilitate signature attractions and events. Engage guests of all ages, including families, children, and adults. Confidently use a microphone and lead group activities. Ensure safety procedures are followed and manage guest behavior when necessary. Support multiple activities based on daily operational needs. Deliver outstanding guest service and create memorable onboard experiences.

Qualifications: Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required. One year of physical fitness and/or recreational sports instruction background with resorts, sports facilities and/or related recreational facilities required. Ability to coordinate and instruct recreational sports and activities for large groups and/or individual sessions. This includes one-on-one rock-climbing wall instruction. Manual belay certification preferred. Experience in the operation and maintenance of the Flowrider or other similar water park equipment, preferred. Knowledge of the rules of common sports like basketball, volleyball, golf, pickleball, ping-pong, shuffleboard, etc. Proven customer service skills to interact appropriately with guests in a considerate, professional and positive manner. Ability to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
