This opportunity requires at least 10 years of commercial underwriting experience, a community banking background, and strong knowledge of the South Florida market. Candidates must currently be based in South Florida and available to work onsite.
Responsibilities:
Underwrite commercial credit requests, including small business loans and lines of credit.
Analyze financial statements, cash flow, repayment capacity, and collateral to assess creditworthiness.
Evaluate accounts receivable financing requests and related credit risks.
Prepare credit analyses and recommendations to support lending decisions.
Work closely with the lending team to evaluate loan structures and identify potential risks.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of commercial underwriting experience.
Community bank experience is required.
Currently based in South Florida with strong local market knowledge.
Experience underwriting small business loans and lines of credit.
Knowledge of accounts receivable financing.
Strong commercial credit analysis and underwriting skills.
Ability to work onsite in Miami, FL.
