The ideal candidate will bring a strong data engineering and software development background, experience building production data platforms and pipelines, and the ability to lead technical execution in a collaborative startup environment. This person will play a key role in designing and evolving the infrastructure that powers AI-driven data extraction, processing, and intelligence. Targeting: 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering, software engineering, platform engineering, or related fields. Experience leading or mentoring small engineering teams while remaining hands-on technically. Strong background designing and building scalable data ingestion, orchestration, and processing pipelines. Experience transforming unstructured or semi-structured data—including documents, PDFs, emails, and other complex data sources—into structured, usable information. Experience with data integrations, APIs, ETL/ELT workflows, and managing data across multiple sources. Strong understanding of data platform architecture, system design, reliability, scalability, and production performance. Experience building and maintaining production systems that support search, information extraction, analytics, or AI-powered applications. Proficiency with SQL, relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and modern software development practices.
