The US Army and Army Reserves has multiple vacancies for an entry level Preventive Medicine Specialist. You do not require prior training or experience in this career field in order to qualify for this position. If you qualify, you will be given a date to attend the 10 week Basic training followed by the 15 week Advanced Individual Training (AIT). You would receive full time Army pay and Benefits while attending training. 20 Nationally Recognized Certifications are available with this training. As a Preventive Medicine Specialist, you'll be a major contributor when it comes to keeping the Army healthy and preventing the spread of infection and disease. You'll conduct laboratory tests to monitor the spread of bacteria, keep health records, and survey and track conditions for potential risks. Youll have the skills and training necessary to recommend proper corrective actions to ensure good health for our Soldiers.
