Account Manager Inside Sales

Location: Theodore, Alabama (On-site)

Key Responsibilities: Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring strong relationships and high retention Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely responses to inquiries, quotes, and orders Proactively identify opportunities to increase revenue through cross-selling, upselling, and re-engaging inactive accounts Generate new business through outbound outreach, follow-ups, and relationship development Own the full sales cycle for inside accounts—from initial inquiry through quote, order, and follow-up Partner closely with outside sales and operations teams to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction Track and manage sales activity, pipeline, and performance against targets Support pricing and quoting decisions with an understanding of margin and profitability Resolve customer issues quickly while maintaining a high level of professionalism Qualifications 2–5+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, or a customer-facing sales role Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environments preferred Proven ability to build relationships and drive sales growth Strong communication, organization, and follow-through Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems Metaltech is a fast-paced metal service center specializing in stainless steel, specialty alloys, and precision processing.
