Data Center MEP Superintendent Location: On-site in Cedar Rapids, IA A leading construction organization specializing in complex, high-performance environments is seeking a Data Center MEP Superintendent to support the delivery of large-scale, mission critical projects. This Role Offers:Competitive compensation with comprehensive benefits Exposure to complex, large-scale data center and mission critical construction Strong pipeline of ongoing and upcoming projects Collaborative, performance-driven culture with advancement opportunities Opportunity to lead critical MEP scopes on impactful builds Key Responsibilities:Lead daily field operations for MEP scopes on mission critical construction projects Coordinate construction sequencing, manpower planning, and material procurement Partner with project leadership to develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including short-term look-ahead plans Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and quality expectations Facilitate preconstruction and coordination meetings with internal teams and trade partners Monitor installation progress, proactively identifying and resolving field issues Ensure compliance with construction documents, codes, and safety standards Communicate project updates, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and leadership Drive quality control efforts through regular inspections and adherence to standards Support labor planning, workforce coordination, and productivity optimization Qualifications:5 plus years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on MEP systems Proven experience on mission critical or data center projects strongly preferred Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and sequencing Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades Knowledge of applicable building codes and industry standards Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with construction management software tools is a plus Willingness to work on-site and support project demands About Blue Signal: Blue Signal is an award-winning, executive search firm specializing in various specialties.
