Emergency Department Ultrasound Technologist

Chippenham Hospital, an esteemed member of HCA Virginia's health network, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our Chesterfield Emergency Room team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services essential for the prompt and accurate diagnosis of our patients. The ideal candidate will be proficient in utilizing ultrasound equipment to produce and record images according to physician's directives, aiding in patient diagnoses. Our advanced facilities are designed to support innovative treatments and superior patient outcomes, particularly in specialties such as cardiac care and trauma services. Operate ultrasound equipment to create images of the body's internal structures for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a physician. Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures. Prepare, maintain, and operate imaging equipment, ensuring it operates correctly and is properly maintained. Analyze the images for quality and coverage of the area required and report findings to the physician. Keep accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality and health and safety guidelines. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
