Role Responsibilities: Load shipments on to trucks in accordance with freight regulations and requirements. Maintain and organize product and storage lot. Inventory lumber, skids and crates. Operate Diesel Load Lifter and Forklifts. Fulfill staging requirements of departments supported by position. Provide backup to warehouse and assembly as needed. Complies with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures. Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required. Minimum Qualifications: Combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience in related area of expertise. Safely operate equipment. Acquire knowledge of department processes and parts. Knowledge of freight regulations and requirements. Understand customer orders and shipping requirements. Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment. Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees. Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal. Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned. Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance. Hourly Pay Range: $22.85 This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations. This position is eligible for a gainsharing plan based on the achievement of specific goals.
