Fund Accountant

Role Description: This is a full-time, remote role for a Fund Accountant. The Fund Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accurate fund accounting, maintaining NAV calculations, generating financial reports, and supporting finance-related activities. Day-to-day duties include reconciling accounts, managing fund allocations, adhering to compliance standards, and collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve financial transparency and accuracy.

Qualifications: Proficiency in preparing Financial Statements, including accurate analysis and reporting. In-depth knowledge of Fund Accounting and fund allocation processes. Experience with Financial Reporting and maintaining compliance with relevant guidelines. Ability to calculate and manage NAV (Net Asset Value) effectively. Strong understanding of financial principles and practices, with a background in Finance. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus. Experience in non-profit or tribal organizations is advantageous. Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
