Clinical SUD Supervisor

Essential Responsibilities: Provide clinical direction and leadership to all personnel. Assure timely, accurate and adequate recording keeping and monitor/evaluate records. Develop, implement, and evaluate all program activities. Monitor all treatment program admissions, authorizations, and discharges. Coordinate services with community and health care agencies to provide a continuum of care. Respond to all program emergencies as necessary following all Harbor Light approved policies and procedures. Supervision and scheduling of clinical personnel as directed by the Site Administrator. Maintain accurate documentation regarding supervised staff. Verify and approve hours worked for employees and submit information to the payroll person in a timely manner. Give recommendations on hiring and firing of all clinical personnel. Review admission and discharge satisfaction surveys Represent The Harbor Light in community functions and committees as directed by the Site Administrator. Provide for the day-to-day operations of the site in the absence of the Site Administrator. Conduct staff meetings, individual supervision, fidelity checks and clinical case conferences/case reviews Participate in Detroit QI meetings, System-wide QI and Clinical Supervisor meetings Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Education/

Experience: Two years of Clinical Supervisor or lead therapist experience preferred Minimum of two years working in the field of substance abuse or mental health Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Ability to lead and motivate

Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, internet, and email Certificates and Licenses: Appropriate MCBAP Clinical Supervisor Credentialing (CCS or CCS-DP) or ability to obtain within 30 days Must possess MCBAP Addiction Counselor Certification (CAADC, CADC-M, CADC)Appropriate State License (MSW, LPC, ACSW)Valid Michigan Chauffeur License and approved by The Salvation Army MVRComplete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
