A law firm seeks a patent agent or technical advisor to join its patents team in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 5G, Wi‑Fi, and other wireless technologies, artificial intelligence, processor and memory systems, image processing, and RF front‑end. This position offers location flexibility across all US offices.
Duties:
Assist in patent prosecution and portfolio management.
Collaborate with clients to develop and manage patent portfolios.
Conduct research and analysis on technical matters.
Prepare and file patent applications.
Requirements:
At least two years of patent prosecution experience.
Registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) or qualified to register.
Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Education Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Certifications:
USPTO registration or eligibility.
Skills Experience in 5G, Wi‑Fi, and wireless technologies.
Knowledge of artificial intelligence and related fields.
Experience with processor and memory systems, image processing, and RF front‑end.
Preferred experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, and computer vision.
