Research Fellow: Magnetic Reconnection for Space Propulsion

The University of Southampton invites applications for a Research Fellow in the Astronautics Group within the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The project investigates magnetic reconnection as a means to accelerate plasma for future space propulsion, in collaboration with the University of Oxford over three years. The successful candidate will contribute to experimental work in a vacuum chamber, engage with partners, and present findings at conferences.
