Regional Manager (Transportation)

Duties: Interact and communicate with clients, vendors and staff of all levels Ability to lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs Track multiple projects simultaneously to keep jobs on schedule and under budget Perform transportation engineering analyses and calculations Prepare and write engineering and other reports Coordinate and write responses to project solicitations Maintain and develop strong client relationships Develop business in the Illinois region Field visits on rough terrain per project needs Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements: Experience working directly with the Illinois Department of Transportation and local municipalities Existing business development relationships Licensed professional engineer in Illinois Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)Experience using at least one CADD platform (Micro Station or AutoCAD)Knowledge of at least one highway design package (Open Roads, Geopak, or Civil 3D)Critical thinking and analysis Must possess a valid driver's license Must complete a background check

Educational Requirements: B.S. in Civil Engineering

Salary Range: Horner & Shifrin, Inc. offers a comprehensive total rewards package and is committed to fair, competitive, market-based compensation. The target salary range for this position is $115,000 - $190,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
