This role works closely with the Activities Director to plan, organize, and facilitate group and one-on-one activities that enhance residents' quality of life.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in planning and conducting daily activities including games, crafts, music, exercise programs, outings, and special events Encourage resident participation while honoring individual preferences and abilities Provide one-on-one engagement for residents who are unable or unwilling to attend group programming Help decorate for holidays and themed events to maintain a vibrant, home-like environment Document participation and resident response in accordance with facility policy Transport residents safely to and from activities Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure programming supports resident goalsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:A positive, high-energy personality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Creativity and the ability to think outside the box Compassion and patience when working with seniors Experience in activities, recreation, healthcare, or customer service preferred Ability to work some evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed At Heights Care and Rehab, we don't just fill calendars — we create experiences.
