We are seeking an experienced Seamstress to manufacture fabric awnings from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, at $20.00 per hour. The role involves sewing individual awning projects using acrylic fabric, vinyl-coated fabric, and canvas as part of a cross-functional manufacturing team. Advancement opportunities include progression to Lead Fabricator.
Responsibilities:
Cut fabric according to patterns and project specifications.
Follow patterns and accurately measure materials.
Assemble fabric awning components.
Operate walking-foot and single-needle industrial sewing machines.
Sew awning materials, including acrylic fabric, vinyl-coated fabric, and canvas.
Finish seams and inspect completed work.
Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two or more years of industrial sewing experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience operating industrial sewing machines.
Ability to read patterns and measure fabric accurately.
Quality control experience.
Strong attention to detail.
