Emery Jensen a wholly owned subsidiary of Ace Hardware Corporation, serves independent lumberyards, paint retailers, hardware stores, and e-commerce retailers across the country. As a Retail Sales Specialist, you'll play a key role in helping our customers grow sales through exceptional retail execution, merchandising, inventory management, and store support. This field-based position supports accounts throughout Oahu, including Honolulu, Pearl City, Mililani, and Aiea. You'll work closely with store teams, Territory Managers, and Sales Directors to create a best-in-class retail experience. Eligible for a company vehicle.
What You'll Do:
- Execute merchandising plans, planograms, and retail resets
- Maintain in-store product presentation, pricing, signage, and promotional displays
- Identify opportunities to improve sales, inventory turns, and category performance
- Write and recommend product orders that support customer needs
- Support new product introductions and store conversion initiatives
- Partner with store teams to resolve inventory, shipping, claims, and product issues
- Monitor and communicate sales trends, customer feedback, and market insights
- Verify planogram accuracy and order missing items as needed
- Assist with new store openings, special events, and promotional activities
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to support customer locations

Required Skills:
- 3+ years of retail, merchandising, customer service, or related experience
- Bachelor's degree plus 1+ year of retail experience considered equivalent
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Comfortable lifting up to 35 pounds and using ladders as needed
- Ability to travel up to 80%, including occasional overnight travel
- Ability to travel by air as required
This position requires driving a company vehicle and meeting company motor vehicle and insurance eligibility requirements. You must have a valid U.S. driver's license for at least three (3) continuous years immediately preceding today's date.
Must reside in or near Honolulu, Pearl City, Mililani, or Aiea
