The role focuses on remedial design, site characterization, and implementation of innovative cleanup solutions for contaminated soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion sites.
What you'll do:
Develop remedial strategies for soil, groundwater, and soil vapor contamination Design and implement remediation systems and treatment approaches Conduct site assessments, sampling programs, and data analysis Prepare remedial design plans, technical reports, cost estimates, and project schedules Oversee remediation activities and ensure regulatory compliance Evaluate remediation performance and recommend optimization strategies Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering 10+ years of environmental engineering experience with a focus on remediation design Experience with one or more of the following technologies: In Situ Chemical Oxidation (ISCO), Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE), Air Sparging, Permeable Reactive Barriers (PRBs), Multi-Phase Extraction (MPE), In Situ Stabilization (ISS), Bioremediation Knowledge of environmental regulations and remediation best practices Experience with environmental modeling and design software Strong technical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills
