Our client, an Am Law 50 firm, has an active need for a healthcare technology transactions attorney to join its Chicago office as an associate. The firm's full-service practice group assists health care organizations, including digital health companies and hospitals, with transactions, regulatory work, and compliance. Responsibilities:
Represent health care and life sciences clients in technology transactions, including matters involving digital health products and services Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial technology agreements, such as software/SaaS, cloud services, data licensing and use, professional services, and strategic collaboration agreements Negotiate business associate agreements and data protection terms within technology deals
Required Qualifications:
4-8 years of technology transactions experience, ideally with a health care and life sciences focus Working knowledge of privacy and data security laws governing health care and health technology, including HIPAA and state health and consumer privacy statutes Experience counseling on health tech and AI matters is strongly preferred Strong academic credentials and excellent drafting, writing, negotiation, and communication skills
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $290,000 - $420,000.
