L3

united care abacoloradoDenver, COtoday
Job Description:
  • You already calm the kid who’s terrified of the needle. Imagine what you could do with a whole hour.
  • As a phlebotomist or EKG technician, you’re the one who gets the scared child through it. You talk them down, keep them still, and get it done right the first time. Then they’re gone in five minutes and you never see them again.
  • As a Behavior Technician (BT), you get to stay. You work 1:1 with a child with autism, week after week, and watch them learn to communicate, follow routines, and handle the moments that used to overwhelm them.
  • The skills you use every day are the skills we need.
  • You label every tube perfectly. As a BT, you record every session’s data with the same accuracy. In ABA, the data drives the child’s treatment.
  • You follow protocol to the letter. Here, you follow the child’s treatment plan written by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), step by step.
  • You keep anxious patients calm. Here, you help a child stay regulated and work through hard moments.
  • You explain what’s happening to worried parents. Here, you build trust with families and keep them in the loop.
  • Your lab opens early. Your afternoons are free.
  • In-home sessions after school, Monday through Friday
  • Weekend hours available
  • More cases and more hours in the summer
  • We’re opening clinics, so afternoon clinic work may be an option down the road
  • Love working with kids? Turn it into a career that supports you.

We partner with our best BTs to help them get there, and along the way, we offer scholarships to those we recognize as part of our long-term community.
