Multiple positions are available to teach and support learners across several schools near Bristol, CT. These roles offer the chance to positively impact students lives while collaborating with a dedicated education team.
What We're Looking For:
  • Active Connecticut Special Education Teacher License; must meet state certification requirements
  • Classroom experience working with students who have special needs
  • Knowledge of CT-SEDS data system is preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with general education teachers and specialists to support student success
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Role Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging special education instruction in compliance with IEP goals and district guidelines
  • Adapt learning activities and materials to address a wide range of student abilities and needs
  • Develop individualized education plans and monitor student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and document student progress effectively
  • Communicate actively with families, related service providers, and educational teams
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and school-based professional development
  • Assignment Details:35 hours per week, full-time contract positions
  • Immediate needs across three locations, with varying start/end dates: September through February
  • Fully onsite teaching environments with supportive administration and fellow educators
