The core responsibilities of this role include: monitoring and dispatching in a time-efficient and cost-effective manner and transmitting any concerns or issues to the Customer Service Manager. Position: Dispatcher Shift: Friday-Monday 10:00 PM- 8:00 AM Pay: $20/hr. The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: 2+ years of customer service, dispatch, transportation, or logistics experience in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service through professional, timely, and solution-oriented communication. Experience managing customer inquiries, service exceptions, and escalations while maintaining a positive customer experience. Strong relationship building skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, drivers, carriers, and internal stakeholders. Ability to provide accurate service updates and set clear expectations regarding deliveries, delays, and issue resolution. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision making skills with the ability to independently resolve operational challenges. Experience utilizing dispatch, tracking, and transportation management systems, including E-Courier or similar platforms. Working knowledge of routes, service areas, and dispatch operations to support timely and cost-effective service. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, data entry, documentation, and system navigation. Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Proven ability to collaborate across teams to resolve service issues and meet customer commitments. Demonstrated reliability, adaptability, and commitment to regular attendance and operational excellence.
