An established electrical company is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at our Long Island City office.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of electrical construction projects from pre-construction through completion
  • Perform pre-construction planning, including submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and coordinate with vendors
  • Attend site meetings and maintain clear communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Oversee project scheduling, manpower allocation, and material management
  • Manage change orders and ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the electrical field
  • Strong knowledge of low-voltage (LV) systems and fire alarm systems
  • Proficient in computer applications relevant to project management
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NYC electrical codes
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems for both residential and commercial turnkey projects
  • Please provide a list of completed projects for the references.
