I&C Design Engineer (York)

Responsibilities: Review and produce engineering deliverables such as Engineering Change Base docs, Equipment Database records, Electrical Elementary Diagrams, Connection Diagrams, Wiretabs, Bill of Materials, and Cable Cards. Prepare and check design packages, specifications, calculations, and technical evaluations. Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), including procedure reviews and test observations. Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders for technical evaluations and design reviews. Analyze engineering risks and develop mitigation strategies. Provide updates to project managers and leadership. Support construction and implementation phases by resolving field changes and addressing technical issues.

Requirements: Strong background in Electrical, Computer, or I&C Engineering. Design Qualification (must be clearly reflected on CV).Ability to obtain unescorted nuclear access (background screening, fingerprinting, training/testing).Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Familiarity with digital control systems, DCS, PLCs, and advanced control system monitoring. Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of the Standard Design Process.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. A valid U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) license may substitute for degree.
