Title: Solution Architect – Data Engineering
Job Type: Hourly W2/Full-Time
Location: 100% Remote - MST Time Zone
Key Skills:
Snowflake (architecture, performance/cost optimization, security & access-model design), SnowSQL, advanced SQL, DBT, SQLDBM (or similar enterprise data-modeling tooling), a cloud platform underlying Snowflake (AWS), Airflow (or similar orchestration tooling)
Nice to Have:
IICS, Python (scripting/automation), Git-based CI/CD for deployment governance, a BI/reporting tool for the consumption layer (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Solution Architect (Snowflake / Cloud Data Platform)A senior-level architect who can own the big-picture view of the Snowflake data platform — not hands-on pipeline building.
Key responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end solution architecture for a layered Snowflake Cloud data platform (raw/staging → conformed → curated layers)
- Define and enforce architecture standards, data-modeling conventions, and design patterns for the engineering team
- Review and approve technical designs, data models, pipeline architectures, and orchestration strategy before implementation
- Align business and technical stakeholders on architecture direction and technical priorities
- Provide technical oversight and decision-making across concurrent workstreams
Ideal candidate profile:
- Senior Snowflake expert (architect-level, not just a developer) with experience across multiple Snowflake platform builds, not just one
- Strong at big-picture planning, prioritization, and stakeholder communication, not just technical build
- Able to ramp quickly on a new client's technical environment, tooling, and delivery processes
- Prior experience setting architecture standards or leading governance at an enterprise level
- Prior consulting/professional-services experience across multiple client environments
