Role & Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a Production Controller for a manufacturing company rebuilding its planning function, ideal for someone experienced in production control, Kanban, and work order management looking to grow in manufacturing planning.
- Manage daily work orders, Kanban reports, and Now/Next/Pick boards; resolve red items after stand-upRelease only fully ready work to the floor, sequenced by customer commitments and capacity
- Coordinate Stores, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Receiving to clear shortages and documentation gaps
- Maintain ERP accuracy across the work order lifecycle, from creation through closure
- Essential Qualifications 3-5+ years in manufacturing production control, planning, or scheduling (less with a relevant degree plus project management certification)
- Strong Kanban, ERP/MRP (AS400, ProMan, FastKey), and Excel or Smartsheet experienceHigh School Diploma; comfortable working hands-on on the manufacturing floor
- Bonus QualificationsAA or Bachelor's in Supply Chain or Business
- Agile/Scrum or LEAN certification or experienceHigh-mix, fast-paced manufacturing experience
