Location Muscatatuck, Indiana Job Description IDS is seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer IIIto support enterprise and cyber range network architecture within a DoD environment. This position requires deep expertise in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures across distributed test range environments. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical leader responsible for network design, wireless infrastructure integration, and support of advanced cyber test and training environments.
Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and maintainenterprise network architecturessupporting cyber range operations Manage and optimizerouting, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and VLANsSupportdistributed test range environments, including policy and procedure development Engineer and maintainnetwork infrastructure across physical and virtualized systems Provide technical support for DoD network nodes and cyber range platforms Develop and implementnetwork policies, standards, and best practices Supportwireless network infrastructure, including modern cellular and Wi-Fi technologies Troubleshoot complex network issues and ensure high availability and performance Education Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Management, or related discipline ORequivalent experience in lieu of degree
Certifications: Must meet DoD 8140.03 IAT II requirements(e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, or equivalent)Experience Minimum of 10 years of experienceincyber range or computer testbed environments Expert-level experience designing and configuring: Routing, switching, firewallsDNS, VPNs, VLANsEnterprise network infrastructure acrossbare metal and virtualized systems Experience supportingdistributed test range environments, including development of policies and procedures Experience withwireless and cellular technologies, including:802.11 (Wi-Fi)2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks Experience configuring and managing DoD network nodes, including environments such asJIOR (Joint Information Operations Range)Proven ability to operate incomplex, mission-driven DoD environments
