Curriculum Design Specialist

Key responsibilities: Develop and revise complete lessons and individual lesson components using existing drafts and design guidance Review instructional activities, providing recommendations to enhance standards alignment and student engagement Incorporate feedback from curriculum reviewers to improve the instructional quality of materials

Required qualifications: 4+ years of experience in elementary education, curriculum development, or instructional design, with K-5 classroom teaching experience preferred Strong understanding of elementary instructional practices and developmentally appropriate learning activities Experience in developing, reviewing, or revising high-quality instructional materials Knowledge of elementary ELA or social studies standards and ability to apply them in evaluating instructional materials Experience working within established curriculum frameworks and design guidelines
