Description: American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring a CO or compact RN license and prior ICU specialty experience. Details Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting Night shift, 12-hour shifts, three days per week Uses Epic EMR for charting May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
Requirements:
  • Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand, no pending licenses accepted
  • Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS, none may expire prior to start date
  • Minimum two years of RN experience required, including one year in the CVICU specialtyASN required; BSN preferred
  • Documentation required for consideration includes date of birth and last four digits of SSNAdditional Information
  • Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for cardiovascular ICU patients
  • Provide therapy, treatment, health teaching, and counseling directly or through consultation, delegation, or supervision
  • Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for this travel assignment
  • Background check and drug screening results required prior to start, with a firm documentation due date
