Job Description
Senior Mechanical Designer: At ReLogic Research, you won't be just another headcount. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with engineers and analysts to translate concepts and design intent into detailed CAD models and manufacturing-ready drawings
  • Create CAD models and detailed drawings of parts and complex assemblies in SolidWorksDevelop clear, accurate engineering drawings that support fabrication, assembly, and inspection
  • Follow company product definition standards and revision control procedures
  • Submit, peer review, and release drawings through ReLogic Research's document control system
  • Support prototype builds, integration, and installation activities to ensure hardware is assembled and implemented as intended
  • Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to resolve design and documentation issues
Required Qualifications:
  • Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a clearance 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, drafting, or related technical work
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks modeling and drawing creation
  • Experience creating manufacturing-ready drawings and mechanical assemblies
  • Working knowledge of GD&T and mechanical drawing standards
  • Experience with revision control/document management systems (SolidWorks PDM )
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent professional experience in mechanical design, drafting, or a related field
  • Experience with SolidWorks Product Data Management (PDM)
  • Familiarity with ASME Y14.100, Engineering Product Definition and Related Documentation Practices
  • Experience supporting hardware integration, prototyping, or installation activities
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries
