Daybright is currently seeking for a proven Sales Directorto join our Employer Solutions Benefits West Segment located in Texas. Be part of a team of thought leaders and seasoned benefits and retirement planning professionals.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role will initiate new business by developing relationships with employer group clients. The individual selected for the position must have demonstrated success working with employers selling group health and supplemental health products. The ideal candidate will be able to create, maintain, and develop relationships within the public sector industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and acquires new business revenue through sales to new and existing clients.
Shows a knowledge of working within the employee benefits industry with special focus on the group health and ancillary insurance market.
Actively searching for new business through phone calls, emails, and CRM software.
Understands and articulates the array of products and services offered by the company.
Participates in team sales situations with other Employee Benefits Consultants and support personnel.
May manage overall client relationships and is supported by day-to-day account management.
Assists, educates, and develops other staff members in new client sales situations and existing client service requirements.
Ability to cross-sell products to current clients outside of our Employee Benefits sector.
Prepares and implements individual business plans, production budgets, and weekly sales reports.
Develops and maintains intercompany relationships consistent with our company culture.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree required.
Group 1 Health & Life license, required.
5 years of demonstrated and successful sales and industry experience.
Experience must include outside sales within the group health insurance or voluntary market space.
Benefit Enrollment Technology, payroll system, and/or HRIS knowledge are preferred.
Must have a positive “can-do” attitude, possess a passion for building relationships and be a self-starter who regularly demonstrates initiative.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
35% travel within the state of Texas and sales territory.
