WAREHOUSE WORKERMonday- Friday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM$15.00 per hourESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSRemove, sort, and dispose of scrap metal, debris, recyclable materials, equipment, and general waste. Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, dumpsters, and designated collection areas. Move materials using carts, dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other approved equipment. Break down or dismantle items using basic hand and power tools. Organize and consolidate materials to maximize storage and trailer space. Maintain clean walkways, work areas, and access points. Sweep work areas and perform general warehouse cleanup. Identify and report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or hazardous materials. Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb throughout the shift. Comfortable handling scrap metal, equipment, debris, and materials of various sizes and weights. Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, work boots, and hearing protection. Previous pallet jack, forklift, or material-handling experience is a plus. Basic hand and power tool experience is preferred.#psseguin
