Design Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design company products using Solid Works or other engineering software Create engineering drawings for use in proposals and manufacturing Create bills of material and routings for use in cost estimates and manufacturing Create owner's manuals, test procedures, and other engineering deliverables as required Perform engineering computations for sizing equipment components Provide technical support to shop personnel during manufacturing Provide field support of company products as required Perform Lead Engineer role for assigned sales orders including customer interaction, vendor communication, and project management as required Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Proficient with Solid Works CAD software Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Ability to perform fundamental engineering calculations utilizing software applications and/or manual methods Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, sales, manufacturing, and production personnel to meet customer requirements Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Demonstrates initiative, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field with a minimum of one (1) year of related experience, or Associate degree in an engineering-related field with four (4) or more years of related experience. Computer Skills Competence with 2D/3D CAD software; Solid Works is preferred.
