To support transmission and distribution projects in a remote setting, the full-time Licensed Principal Transmission Engineer will manage design and coordination of high voltage transmission lines, utilizing PLS-CADD software while mentoring junior engineers and serving as a primary client-facing Subject Matter Expert.
Key responsibilities: Design and coordinate high voltage transmission line projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and quality control Facilitate collaboration among project team members and act as the main client contact to define project scope Mentor junior engineers and lead internal training presentations to enhance team capabilities and improve design standards
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 20 years of relevant transmission line engineering experience Professional Engineer (PE) license required; licensure in multiple states preferred Expertise in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE, with the ability to train others Previous experience working with or for a Utility is required
