Full Opportunity Brief Tuthill & Hughes LLP, a boutique law firm in Denver, Colorado, is seeking an experienced mid-level associate attorney to join its private wealth practice. The firm is consistently ranked Band 1 in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide for Private Wealth Law, and its partners are Fellows of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
Key Eligibility Criteria Experience:
4 to 7 years of private practice with an emphasis in federal transfer tax planning.
Licensure: Admission to practice in Colorado, or the ability to obtain Colorado admission.
Technical Skills:
Working knowledge of federal estate, gift, generation-skipping transfer, and fiduciary income tax principles.
Core Competencies:
Excellent federal tax research, analytical, and writing skills; exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work Provide sophisticated estate planning and private wealth legal services.
Engage in intellectually challenging work within a boutique firm model that combines technical expertise with direct client relationships.
Maintain a baseline of 1,400 annual billable hours (with options for higher commitment for increased compensation).
Base Salary:
$145,000 - $200,000 per year (commensurate with experience and 1,400-hour billable commitment).
Bonus Potential:
Opportunities for bonus compensation and higher base salary for those electing to take on additional billable work.
