Accounts Receivable Specialist

Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle accounts receivable activities, including cash application, collections, account maintenance, and reconciliations. Research and resolve unapplied cash, payment variances, deductions, and customer account discrepancies. Review remittance information and ensure payments are accurately matched and applied. Support month-end close activities, reporting, and account analysis. Handle collections, customer inquiries, credit-related activity, and account follow-up. Create and process credits, adjustments, and account corrections as needed. Partner with Finance, Sales, and Customer Service teams to resolve account issues and improve processes. Serve as backup support for lockbox processing, wire activity, and cash collections functions.

Qualifications: 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience with strong exposure to cash application, collections, and reconciliations. Ability to investigate account activity, identify discrepancies, and drive issues through resolution. Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables; strong reporting and analytical capabilities preferred. Experience working with ERP systems; JD Edwards experience is a plus. Strong understanding of AR processes, customer account management, and financial impacts of cash application decisions. Associate's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
